Second batch of food feeds hungry children

Through funds raised by our initiative, the second batch of food arrived and fed hungry children last week in Jacmel.  A contribution of $1500 allowed for the purchase of 880 lbs. of rice, 4 cases of spaghetti,440 lbs. of black beans, 2 case of oil, chicken legs, 1 case of tomato paste, 3 bags of  ground corn, 100 lbs. of flour, 1 case of smoked fish, cod fish, juice, 100 lbs of sugar and cooking gas.  The donation is enabling the center to feed more children every day and leading toward a 6 day feeding program, up from the 5 days currently in place.
